Our current resin was supplied through Mothersgoods in Germany.
The purchase invoice identifies the material as “Dragonblood Socotra (Dracaena cinnabari)” and records a 1 kg purchase of the resin.
That documentation supports the species supplied to Sacred Plants Australia and its stated Socotran origin.
Dracaena cinnabari is currently assessed as a Vulnerable species. That makes precise sourcing language more important, not less.
We therefore do not describe this lot as wild harvested, sustainably harvested, fair trade, ethical or conservation supporting because we do not hold lot specific evidence establishing those claims.
We would rather state exactly what our documentation supports than add a more attractive sourcing story that we cannot prove.
Prepared by Sacred Plants Australia
Sacred Plants Australia prepares the finished infusion in Australia from imported Dracaena cinnabari resin and MCT coconut oil.
The resin is lightly crushed and maintained in the MCT carrier at approximately 50°C for approximately 24 hours with continuous stirring.
The infusion then rests for a further 24 hours before stainless steel filtration removes the remaining insoluble material.
Nothing is added to intensify the scent or manufacture a stronger colour.
There is no added essential oil, synthetic fragrance, preservative, antioxidant, synthetic colour or filler.
The finished product is simply a filtered Dracaena cinnabari resin infusion in MCT coconut oil.
How to Use
For external skin and body use, apply a small amount to clean, intact skin and massage gently.
For personal ritual or anointing use, apply sparingly to the skin or to suitable ritual objects that can tolerate oil and natural resin colour.
Dragon's Blood has accumulated many symbolic and ritual associations across different traditions. Sacred Plants Australia presents those traditions as cultural history and personal practice rather than as medical or guaranteed energetic effects.
