Sacred Plants Australia begins with Peruvian Palo Santo wood rather than purchasing a ready-made fragrance base or simply adding essential oil to water.
Each batch begins with 250 g of Palo Santo wood for every 1,000 mL of perfumer's alcohol before filtration.
The wood undergoes an eight-week cold extraction in darkness, with no heat applied during the extraction period.
Once extraction is complete, the aromatic liquid is separated from the wood, clarified and progressively filtered to remove fine botanical material.
It is then allowed to rest before final inspection and bottling into amber glass fine-mist spray bottles.
The finished preparation contains no added water and no separately added essential oil or fragrance.
WAYS TO USE
- Room & Space Mist: Mist lightly into the surrounding air to introduce the warm aromatic character of Palo Santo into a bedroom, living space, studio or other chosen setting.
- Meditation & Reflection: Use a small number of sprays in the surrounding space before meditation, prayer, journalling or quiet reflection.
- Smoke-Free Aromatic Use: Use when the aroma of Palo Santo is desired but burning incense wood is not practical or appropriate.
Begin with a few sprays and adjust according to the size of the space and your preferred aromatic intensity.
